The Beginning

I decided to create this blog because over the last several years I have begun to regret the fact that my aunts, uncles, and cousins no longer know who Breann Goroski is. I also mourn the fact that I do not know who they are very well. I've realized that on one side of the family, I am no longer the cute and favored (aka, the ONLY) niece, who was fairly easy to please with a Barbie doll or by having a book read to her. On the other, circumstances have lead to virtually no contact with other side, leaving me wondering who are those people I call family?

I have decided that I must take the first step in establishing the close ties I see in many of my friends' extended families. Thus, I have created this blog to chronicle events in my daily life, along with thoughts that flit through my head and the like. Hopefully, all of you will discover and delight in my heart. And so the journey begins....this is me.
